The remote for slides is one of those things I always grab while I am in the room. I like that it doesn’t come with a cord or battery, but I also like the fact that it is super compact and can be used to control both audio (like the remote for my speakers) and video (like the remote for my computer).
I just think that when you are working remotely, you can almost always control multiple devices at once. I think that for most people, that is a good thing. When they are remote for slides, they are probably watching the video and typing on the keyboard, while they are listening to the audio. Some people may not be fans of remote for slides because it’s not in the future. People who don’t mind the idea of being on another screen, but want the ability to see what is happening without having the visual feedback. I do wonder how long that would take.
